Source:SpaceWill  Date:2021-11-13

From November 5 to 10, 2021, Heavy snowstorm continually struck Tongliao City in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with five local meteorological stations reporting the maximum daily snowfall since the record in 1951. It blocked citizens travel and even brought some areas to a standstill. SpaceWill deployed GF-1 and SV-1 satellites to image the disastrous areas on November 11 and 12. The images below show different areas affected by the snowstorm.

•  Tongliao Urban City

The comparison images captured on Nov 11, 2021 and Oct 16, 2021 showed the roads and key areas were cleaned up on the second day when the snow stopped.
